2020 World Footbag Championships – Freestyle Only – Online – July 2020

The 2020 World Footbag Championships were a particular beast. Due to the travel restrictions, the competitors couldn’t meet. For the net competition it was an impossible proposition. Freestyle, on the other hand, can be judged from a video clip, so it’s how it got organized. The players had to provide clips from their performances, without editing of course, and be evaluated by a panel of online judges. The organizers displayed lots of creativity and resourcefulness to pull that off.
