2024 Akisphere – WFC2024 Net – WFC 2024 Freestyle
The 2024 Akisphere sported a particular importance as it was the last preparation stage for the World Championships that were opening in Montreal a couple of weeks later. The players and observers could feel the electricity flying through the courts as this important moment was coming ahead.
François Depatie-Pelletier scores 2 titles
François is a regular feature on the 1st place of the podium at the Akisphere, he returned to his familiar position in the Open Singles and Doubles contests, scoring another scripture of his name on the coveted Akisphere trophy. As a reminder, only the doubles winners get their names engraved on the most beautiful footbag award. Would these victories prove prophetic for the World Championships?

And what about Marilyn Demuy’s performance? She also got two titles at the Akisphere proving that she was also ready for big accomplishments at Worlds.
With a title in Mixed Doubles as well as the Women’s singles 1st place, Marilyn sent
a warning signal through the entire footbag world.
