AKISPHERE 2020 Action Pack from Pro Kicker
On this dreaded 2020 year, there were no World Footbag Championships for footbag net players due to the global travel restrictions. Nonetheless, we managed to organize our local tournament, indeed a little bit under the radar.We still managed to have a pretty good turnout with a total of 24 players including 6 women and 8 doubles intermediate players. The July 10th to 12th weekend was a relief from the international fear campaign unleashed over us. We fraternized and played footbag as if it were the last things we would ever do.
François Depatie-Pelletier, featured on the album cover above, has undoubtably been the shining star of this event. François managed to win the open singles and doubles titles with a high degree of kicking mastery.
There was good playing and sportsmanship all around and joyous faces on the court and in the spectator’s pool.
